@til I had no idea what this was; then I realized it was what Manton’s calling filters. Any reason you didn’t stick with that name (or include it somewhere in this post)? (If I wanted to point someone to info on the filters, I wouldn’t remember to search TIL for “post control”, is why I ask.)
@smokey This was just for the addition of the button, which in itself isn't what I'd say is for the filters specifically but categories in general (as well as drafts) -- of course you filter with categories but still. Incidentally, this is one of the reasons I'm working on better ways to group together the different post types; a lot of settings and features are nameless to a certain extent but I'm going to introduce a consistent, broadly used set of terms across the project.
... and then translate them all in The Phrasebook, heh.
@simonwoods Ah, ok. I totally missed that single-sentence mention in Manton’s post! 😉 I still think that “post control“ is a wonky name, but as you say, that button gloms together a number of otherwise loosely-related items, so… 🤷♂️
