@Miraz Interesting that it has “evolved” in the wedding vows to the husband taking the wife and the wife taking the husband, switching to another sense of meaning of the word. (Apple Dictionary lists 7 distinct definitions, most with several related sub-definitions, including the antonyms of steal/remove and accept/receive!)
