@smith Walmart and Costco seem to have the best pharmacy prices on average. I believe there are websites that allow you to input specific medicines and comparison shop. Also, check to see if you’re taking the least expensive variant of what you need. The “extended release” version of my medication costs 5x what the standard one does, so I switched.
@smith Check out the GoodRX app. It will show you prices at all the major chains (at least in US) and often has coupons to help discount prices. You don’t have to sign up or pay any fee.
@smith And depending on what it is and who makes it, the company itself might be willing to give you a subsidized price, like the ads claim (“If you can’t afford your medication, BigPharmaCo can help!“); I had a relative who made use of that.
