Update on the Ulysses Error: I figured it out friends! Turns out that my host was blocking all XML-RPC requests.

@smith sigh I think that is a really outdated and stupid way to do it. It is because of shit like this that I always end up running Wordpress through a VPS when I have used it

@Gabz Nope. I use ox-hugo, hugo and netlify.

@smith Yeah, but a host should never mess with settings like that…
