Pixelfed.social is telling me I have reached some kind of account limit, and I can no longer share photos of my work with the community. I am going back to #KNTHost and hosting my own #Pixelfed instance and making the move back.
@ikklegemzuniverseplus to be honest with you - I thought posting direct on the main Pixelfed Instance would at least grow my new account a little quicker, or have my images seen more. But it’s not true when it comes to the Fediverse. Authenticity is king and it doesn’t matter where you post from. Follow other accounts you like, like others photos. Others end up following you back, creating links between instances and you end up shared on others instances just the same.
@ikklegemzuniverseplus plus - it was free. But then I ended up in the trap of once again, not owning my own content ;)
@samuel I can see the logic of all that and I would think the same way, especially about it being free 😂
