I just killed off a couple of subscriptions to curb my spending a bit. However, I feel like the biggest financial win I could have is to make my own damn coffee.
@aa I recently canceled Trade because I ended up with a backlog of coffee. I don’t really feel like I have the room to roast my own, since I’m in an apartment. But, I’ve decided to support local going forward, for the most part. Even if I buy a $16 bag of beans, I still get far more value out of that than if I had someone else make a cup for me.
@skoobz yep, $16 a bag is good, local is better. I get the apartment situation. I buy 5lbs per month from a local roaster, lasts about that long :-)
