I don’t get why people keep saying that Mastodon is hard to set up. Other than choosing a server, isn’t it the same as Twitter?
@JohnPhilpin yeah was wondering the same. If you have used Twitter, the only real difference is culture. That same could be said about Twitter for new users too.
@joshua truth in that, but for some reason that message isn’t getting through to the twitterati refugees. There again, I do hope that the MicroBlog timeline doesn’t get swamped by [Mastodon cross posts](https://john.philpin.com/2022/11/13/every-single-one.html}.
@skoobz exactly ... i sometimes wonder. If that is too gard - no wonder people don’t move from Farcebook and the Muskeratti
