@Gaby I think you nailed it! The best system may not be this or that app. I consider this to be a very personal decision. I have been using the same system for over 10 years and I don’t ever consider changing. In fact, can’t remember last time I tried a different app, because it just works for me, but I see many people that got my recommendation and ended up in a completely different workflow. And that is perfectly fine.

@Gaby I’m mostly using Analog cards for work at the moment. The thing I like about them is there’s only so many lines on each one. It’s meant to be a system where you fill no more than one card out at a time. If you finish what’s on a card, only then do you fill out another. This is meant to keep from overwhelming yourself. I rarely fill an entire card out at once, instead just a couple tasks at a time. This can work in conjunction with your todo apps, again, so you don;t overwhelm yourself with everything in those apps, instead just focusing on the cards. BaronFig also sells a cheaper version of this, but I actually really like the stock on the Analog cards.

@skoobz I have been thinking on using Field Notes for tasks, nut since I am 85-90% of the time on front of a computer, it easier to hit a few key stokes and type

@Gaby This sounds great. We each have to build our own system based on our needs.

@Gaby Just like you, TickTick works best for me too. Plus Reminders for quick .. uhh.. well reminders via Assitant. But if it is a to-do of any form, it goes in TickTick. Plus it works best for recurring ones. This has helped the forgetful me immensely.

@amit i should probably start integrating TickTick I tl my personal stuff as well… it’s just that having work and personal in the same bucket, makes the bucket heavy and overwhelming

@jasonekratz i think what wins me about TickTick over Things is its natural language parsing, second, I work on windows so, no Things

@jasonekratz of Things had a windows app, which I’m sure that would never happen, I probably be a Things user for sure
