@Gaby It is! Two days now, straight from the Sahara desert. Other countries in Europe are also affected by now. No idea when this will go away.

@maique We do get the same dust, from the Sahara desert, all the way in Puerto Rico. In fact, last week I was in Iowa on a super workshop for work and one of the girls was telling me she visited PR and end up at the hospital due to an allergic reaction, and it was in fact a reaction to de Sahara's dust that was passing that day when she arrived.

@maique Yeah, that dust will get sucked up into the same steering winds that push tropical systems along the Atlantic. From there it can get into the Gulf of Mexico, where it can then end up anywhere from New York to the Great Plains. I remember my eyes burning from It a couple years ago.
