Desert clouds. In addition to the exposed geology, Nevada so often has great cloudscapes, which seems contradictory for a place that is so dry. I will keep an eye out for an explanation.

@cliffordbeshers I didn't think I would, but I grew to love the dynamic between the landscape and the weather in the short time I lived in the Reno area.

@sku_b Mesmerizing, isn't it? On the other hand, flying into Reno requires some deep breathing to keep your knuckles from turning white.

@odd Out here, I often see that similarity. Speculation: the dry air near the ground makes for good visibility, while the flow of wet air over the mountains creates a dynamic flow, and fluid flow displays similarities regardless of viscosity.
