@Burk I’m excited for this, one of the first things I enabled after updating. But I’m a looong time user of the iCloud Keychain and 1Password and now I have a lot of duplicated credentials. I use to let iCloud save a copy because it was so much more convenient on iOS than 1Password.
@Burk I couldn’t figure out why 1password auto fill wasn’t working the entire Beta. That was the issue!! 🤦♂️ Although strangely it seems to only allow 1 3rd party integration. Can’t do lastpass and 1pass at the same time
@ronguest I have some in iCloud too for that exact reason! I haven’t used it too much yet so I’ll be interested to see what it is like when I encounter a place that has the password in both places.
@Burk @ronguest Yup, I have tons of duplication. I guess over time I will probably want to clean that up as I change passwords, so I don't have to keep it in sync across two places. Also, I'm kind of bummed by the limitation that @EddieHinkle noticed, where you can only have one third-party app enabled. The UI sure makes it look like you should be able to check more than one.
@sharding Yeah, I was excited because my work is Last Pass and my personal is 1password so I thought I’d be able to tackle both personal and work, but thankfully I don’t need work that often 🤷♂️
@EddieHinkle Exact same situation here! I actually hate LastPass, but I'm forced to use it for work.
@sharding @ronguest @eddiehinkle as far as the limitation of one third party app, this seems like the kind of thing that launches with support for one and then opens up over time. My guess is the majority of password manager users use just a single one?
