New post: All in with org-mode

In the latest update on my Emacs/org-mode explorations, I explain how I moved from OmniFocus to org-mode to handle all my tasks.

@bsag I like these nerdy excursions. I tried MobileOrg back in the day, and it was too cumbersome to use efficiently. BeOrg has been a revelation.

@helgeg Thanks! Beorg is amazing isn’t it? I keep finding more sophistication to it.

@bsag Love this! It hits all of my confirmation biases and helps validate my recent, similar, all-in-with-org-mode decisions :)

@hjertnes There's no telling! :). I've been pretty good at leaving out everything else except for TheBrain.

@bsag Aaaaand .... this prompts my monthly cycle of « download emacs/org mode - try it - get swamped - give up forever » adding be-org to the mix :-)

@bsag no worries. I’ve been trying to get iCloud to sync the beorg folder for the past 30 minutes. 😤

@seishonagon Weird, I haven’t had a problem with it syncing.

@seishonagon TheBrain is one of those apps that multiplies effort. I spend a little time adding and linking "thoughts" and end up with a powerful way to visualize and explore connections. I don't currently use it to take notes, but rather as a way to link everything together. I can jump into a project or topic years later and immediately see context, people, events, etc. that were involved.
