📺 I finished Altered Carbon on Netflix yesterday. I can’t say I recommend it. The ending didn’t pay off the intrigue set by the beginning.
@craigmcclellan Hey thanks for mentioning this. I was wondering if I should leap. I’m all into The 100 now and it’s okay. Hoping it builds to something more. If there is something else you want, watch Travelers. It is excellent.
@craigmcclellan agreed the ending is a bit of a letdown but there’s a lot to like, no? I still think it’s a nice piece of work, and the AI hotel is brilliant.
@craigmcclellan I’ve been about 3/4 of the way through the series for a couple of weeks now and have been struggling to keep going with it. I feel like the long flashback episode really killed whatever momentum the story had gathered.
@bobschulties Oooh. I watched the first few episodes of travelers and I don’t remember why I didn’t finish. I need to go back because I keep hearing good things.
@seishonagon I loved the world and the premise. I loved a lot of the characters. I just felt like all of that amazingness built up to nothing which for me, was a deal breaker.
