This sums up one of the large reasons I’ve been working to extract myself from the larger social network companies.
@joshl My goal for 2023 is to start all Tweets/Toots from here (or maybe my own system in the future). Replies/etc still on network. If it is not worth writing here, it likely does not need to be said.
@scottwater that’s basically where I’ve tried to land. Treat twitter and such as if they are the comment system that you want to avoid looking at most of the time.
