Having the sort of day where I write what I thought were two thoughtful and useful posts, and the world just shrugs its shoulders at me.
It’s the blogging equivalent of a null result in science.
But it’s that or clickbait…
@adders I’ve had similar experiences where it feels like no one cares about what I write or do. I just remind myself that I’m doing this for me. If people like it, cool. That’s a bonus for me.
@sarcassem Really, I should be used to it after nearly 18 years. But I’m not. Perhaps those years writing for a magazine where I could assume readership, even if that was illusory, have warped my brain.
