@maique Oh, those are some lovely models. I have two G-Shocks, and I regularly pick one or the other when I'm not using an Apple watch for activity tracking. They always feel so nice. But I'm new to them in the last 5-6 years, so I'm still exploring what they have to offer in styles (which is a lot!) and will likely trade one for another in the future.
@samgrover I find myself wearing the Apple Watch less and less. This past month not at all, since I couldn’t even find the energy to charge it (pun very much intended). I would occasionally wear a nicer watch, but then just gave those up as well, since we spent so much time fighting for space, bumping and wrestling, I just went full G-Shock. That is part of the beauty (for me) of these: super light, never have to take them off. They’ll be on my wrist when I’m sleeping, showering, struggling in a melee with other photographers, at the beach, or riding a scooter over bumpy terrain.
@maique Same. I'm wearing it far less. I've found it useful, e.g. for workout tracking, and figuring out sleep patterns, but I dislike all the interactivity and Apple seems to be going more in that direction. My ideal Apple watch is just a fitness band with a micro/no screen. BTW, my G-Shocks are GWG-1000-1A3 and DW-B5600G-2. The first one is massive lol
@maique I have several G-Shocks, and the GW-M5610U is about as perfect as they come. If I were a reasonable person it could be my only watch. Of course, once I started collecting watches I was no longer a reasonable person. ;-)
