I figured I’d test out a new micro.blog crossposting feature with ten shots from our Norway trip earlier this summer.
@joelhamill spent most of our time between Stavanger and…Horn (or so?) before cutting over to Sweden for a few days, down to the High Coast, then generally back to Norway to interior back to Oslo.
@joelhamill I hope you do! We rented a (non fancy) campervan and generally stayed at free overnight spots. We skipped a model with a toilet, as it’s not hard to find public ones there. We occasionally paid for a campground for the shower, but also found some free ones along the way.
@rscottjones this looks like it was an incredible trip, right balance of variety. Glad you were able to make it. Also been digging your Adventures Around the World blog. Love a good travel log.
@paulw it was! We had some tech trouble uploading photos to the adventuresaroundthe.world site during the trip, so we gave up after the first few days. We need to go back and post all about it once we’re back from our current trip.
We’re also working on a companion site called postcardsfromaroundthe.world, which will likely take us a few months to get going.
