Really enjoyed the premiere of Season Two of Star Trek Discovery! 🖖 I thought it was intriguing and gave the series new life rather than just continuing the last season!
@EddieHinkle I enjoyed last season (especially the second half), but I season 2 is going to be much better. I really liked Pike.
@rosskimes Yeah, I did really enjoy the later half of season one as well. Sometimes tv shows get trapped in keeping a second season too similar to the first. I like that this season feels different, I want a show to grow and evolve and this feels like an evolution!
@EddieHinkle I agree! The first two episodes of season two have been a very nice surprise for an old fan who watched TOS when I was ten years old.
I also love that Jonathan Frakes directed episode two. The humor and relationships are becoming what they once were and that, for me, is what has always made an impact.
