Of course Apple translated the name of the “Shortcuts” app. But „Kurzbefehle“ sounds clunky.

@hartlco Depending on where you are in the app it is either called "Kurzbefehle", "Verknüpfung" or "Abkürzung" 🤷‍♂️

@rolandleth It‘s possible to „apply“ for a Testflight beta invite in the downloads section of the developer portal. I don‘t know how it would work for the public beta. 🤔

@hartlco It's very inconsistent with many other apps though - I know some might get translated (I think weather does?), but this is an App Store app, which as far as I'm aware would make it a first, and a precedent they might not actually want to set!

@rosemaryorchard Yes, it‘s confusing. Maps, Stocks and Weather get translated but Wallet stays Wallet (not really a well-known word for non-english speakers). I think they should just stick with Shortcuts. People will associate it with the features and the App anyway.

@hartlco @rosemaryorchard The whole German translation needs a lot of work. They translated some 3rd party app names (Drafts -> Entwürfe, Bear -> Bär)
