I know it’s fashionable to diss HomePods, but they are hugely popular in the Tinworth household.

@adders I keep wobbling on buying one but think I’ll finally go for it if I can get one for $250 or less this upcoming season.

@adders @ronguest I've been undecided regarding the HomePods. I have a few Bluetooth enabled speakers in the house but I've noticed that the signal interference and distance make them less desirable than a HomePod.

@khurtwilliams I only have one Bluetooth speaker we use (an old Jambox). It lacks the oomph and of course lacks the other HomePod features. I relegated it to the bathroom for shower time.

@ronguest Hmm ... I guess I'd have to be an oil baron to have a HomePod for the bathroom. Of course, along with my gold plated Audi RS8.

@khurtwilliams I have two young daughters - and its so delightful letting them choose and explore their own music.

@sarcassem Yup. I actually bought a second for the pair setup when they dropped the price. The whole family now has more music in our lives.
