I’ve learned something since getting an Apple Card - I use Apple Pay a lot more than I realized. It will be interesting after a month or two to compare the ratio of Apple Pay charges to non-Apple Pay charges. 💵

@ronguest Do you think the card will effect your spending habits? Apple Pay is so limited in my in my area, none of my habits have changed.

@wilsongis I don’t think it will change my habits. I already used Apple Pay everywhere I could. But it will save me a bit of money. Fortunately quite a few places accept Apple Pay here. Places I wish accepted it are gas stations and groceries (Whole Foods accepts it but I rarely go there).

@ronguest @wilsongis The place where your credit card is most likely to get skimmed is the gas station. Yet they’re the slowest to adopt Apple Pay. BTW while traveling recently, I was surprised at the number of places that now accept Apple Pay.

@pratik Interestingly, our gas stations accept Apple Pay at the counter. Just not at the pump. And the pumps require you to enter your zip code to use a credit card so Apple Pay would save fumbling to get the card out and enter the code, especially in bad weather.

@ronguest Yes, I meant at the pump. That’s where the credit card skimmers are often placed.
