I mostly watch sports so Sony’s PS Vue has been my streaming service. But they raised the price and I heard YouTube TV now has a strong sports line up at a lower price. Giving YTTV a try and it definitely has higher quality streaming for sports than Vue. 📺

@ronguest I’m about ready to head back to YTTV. I love Vue’s integration with Apple TV, but due to its streaming issues at times, I often find myself going to ESPN’s app to stream a game instead of Vue’s app. I also like how you can drill down results in YouTubeTV, so you can see results for just college football games for example.

@sku\_b I find browsing the schedule/guide in YTTV pretty painful (so I set up TitanTV). But searching is much better than Vue and as you said areas like drilling down are superior as well. I have discovered a few new shows to watch via YTTV which is nice.

@davidixon I think a lot of people hoped streaming would come in the form of un-bundled offerings so we could pay only for channels we actually watched. Sadly the content providers are allowed to force bundles on the streaming services. All content costs have risen, sports is a crazy cost, so I expect all services to continue to raise prices.

@ronguest I have tried Vue, Youtube TV, Hulu and Sling and always end up going back to Vue. YouTube came the closest but it is missing the NFL channel and as a big NFL fan it is a must have. If Youtube had that channel and NFL Redzone I might switch

@klandwehr That makes perfect sense. We don’t watch the NFL so it wasn’t a consideration in our case.
