@ronguest as an administrator for a community club, I see things of this nature occurring on a regular basis at varying levels, fortunately, it's changing bit by bit as the old guys leave committees, or die off, but nowhere near fast enough.

@pratik @matpacker @ronguest Not just FIFA, but the confederations themselves also have no respect for the women’s game for wanting to schedule their finals on the same night. Particularly for CONCACAF, since a member’s team was exceedingly likely to be in said finals.

(Honestly, I think it would be great for the game all-around if no major tournaments were allowed to have significant overlap—not the Gold Cup and Copa América, not anything and any World Cup, and so forth.)
