Very anxiety-provoking to be wandering around alone in a city where you don't speak the language. Trying to make the most of my free day in Berlin but it's tougher than I expected.
@mjmoriarity I tend to enjoy doing that especially in daylight (night is OK if I’m in a safer area). It’s cool seeing what the locals are doing, what’s in the stores or on the streets, and so on. Just have to watch out for pickpockets, though in Shanghai the guys popping out of alleys trying to drum up business for the “girls” got pretty annoying.
