Anyone has an idea how to quickly scan something to iCloud as a PDF file? I want an independent PDF, not the Notes version.

Currently I go to Files > menu > scan document. I want something quicker and more intuitive.

@jtr a quick Shortcut that calls "Files' scan document" saves you a few steps.

@jtr Go to Shortcut and create one (+ at the upper right), then go to "Add Action", go to Apps tab and look for Files and select "Scan Document", then hit Done. Try to run the shortcut and see if that saves you a couple of taps. :)

@rom no problem...! I was hoping I was missing something. Do you know if it's coming to iOS 17? That would be awesome :)

@jtr yes, it definitely is coming - I saw it and ran it. When you run it, it opens the camera and waits for you to scan and then when you save, it pops up the Files app to save it on iCloud.

@pratik sorry, I didn't see this recommendation there. I'm trying it out now, it looks very polished - but it doesn't tell me how many scans I can have before I need to pay. Thanks for the recommendation!

@jtr Think it was 10? And it’s a one-time price and not a subscription.
