Facebook was easy to quit. Closed my account about two years ago and haven’t looked back. Twitter, I am fine with, I can make it tolerable. Mostly by following lots of pixel artists 😅👾. Instagram though, why is so difficult? I really want to get rid of it but I can’t.

@Gaby I’m in a similar place. I quit FB hard and didn’t look back, and I know that everything I do on Instagram is basically giving data to FB – but I like the interactions I have with friends there in a way I didn’t on FB. I do feel sort of stuck.

@Gaby If done right, Instagram can be serene, as least for social.

@Gaby That’s a big problem I have with FB apps in general is the bloated nature of them. Just far too much going on. I just accidentally tapped on the shop tab and didn’t know what I did. I just want to look at photos.

@Gaby Ditched instagram a long time ago. Using Flickr.com for my photos and for following others.

@rom I don’t even post photos on Instagram as much as I do here in Micro.blog, is more for social.
