@jeremycherfas Certainly guys like that muddied the waters but our failure to grasp the urgency of the climate emergency is a much, much larger failure. Corporate media have done an absolutely terrible job of reporting on climate for 30+ years and are still failing at this moment. But the public too is to blame. Certainly the wealthy 10% of westen nations will do anything to avoid thinking or acting on climate. I do not know a single person in my extended family or local community that is taking any responsibility at all. Hardly any interest at all in making any kind of change or taking any kind of action.

This failure will not be the story of the next 50 years. It will be the entire store of our diminished future.
