@agiletortoise I’ve been saying this for years. The US is the only democracy so dominated by only two parties, within a system that makes it impossible for a sizable 3rd party to emerge.

More than any other problem of the American political system, the two-party system is the most dysfunctional, corrupt, toxic, and preventing of the true execution of democratic principles.
