@numericcitizen Ha! No. Blogs are definitely not cool. I recently discovered the dot-com domain for my 27-year-old daughter’s name was available. I asked her if I should register it. She could start a blog, I said. She declined. “What would I even put on there?” she asked.

Sigh.

@robertbreen I certainly hope you registered it anyway. Controlling your name on the internet is controlling your identity.

Over several years I bought my wife’s and daughter’s names (mine is too common, will never get it). I keep trying to get them to use them for at least for email, but they could care less. Maybe someday. So worth it for $10 a year. I will wait them out.
