I wish 1Password’s browser extensions recognised subdomains better. I have around 6 services hanging off a single apex domain, each with a different password, and whenever I visit the login page for one of them, 1Password always suggests the Linkding one. It’s not like it doesn’t know the site URLs.

@lmika Edit the item, select the URL, there should be a setting icon. Click it and select “Only fill on this exact domain”. This should constrain it to the exact subdomain.

@lmika I wish the Safari extension wouldn't continually ask me for my master password. I just spent an inordinate amount of time deleting, installing, reinstalling, restarting, etc. only to find that this problem is a bug affecting everyone (Reddit thread). I Could switch to Chrome, I guess. But Apple's Passwords manager coming soon is sounding better and better.

@robertbreen Yeah, I've disabled the 1Password Safari extension. I was getting bother by that as well. I'm only using the Chromium extension on my Android phone now.

@yatil Ok, I tried doing this but I was unable to get a settings icon show up when I selected the URL. Might be the version of 1Password I've got on my work laptop and my Android phone. I'll give it a go when I get home. Thanks for the instructions.
