I’m reading 📚 Ted Chiang’s bundle of short stories “Stories of your life and others”. I Just finished Seventy-Two Letters and I love how Chiang approaches world building in this story. Very casual yet so intriguing and thought-provoking. Who are recommended authors that write sci-fi in a similar fashion to... frankmeeuwsen.com

@frank I really enjoyed Chiang's "Exhalation," which was also a book of short stories that make you stop and think. I'll put this "Stories of your life" on my list to read. Have you read Hyperion by Dan Simmons? It's been a long while since I read it, but I still think of the stories of the pilgrims in the book. Very few scifi novels hook me that way for so long.

@robertbreen Thanks. I've heard of Hyperion so I added to my bookshelf. Exhalation is truly fantastic. Already the start with The Merchant and the Alchemist's Gate is just amazing.
