@herself I am jealous! I taught English in Korea a long time ago (1988-89). It would be so wonderful to back now and see how things have changed. I hope you have a great trip.

@richnewman 1988 was OG in Seoul wasn’t it? I had an acquaintance that was a rower in that OG.

@odd It was. My colleagues and I watched the opening ceremony from the roof of the building in which one of us lived.

@richnewman I still remember the Koreana song. Only the chorus, but still. Must have been a great experience.

@petebrown my ten year old has started a notebook with all the places she wants to visit…going to be a lot of shopping and eating and anime parks, from the look of it!!

Thanks! We originally booked tickets right before covid, then luckily we’re able to get a refund. That turned into double glazing though, ugh 😂😬

@cheribaker so excited! I remember when you were planning your trip and it just looked amazing.

@richnewman I have a friend who taught back in the early 00s and she said it had changed a lot when she went back again. Bet it was really interesting!!
