In a society that increasingly values visibility over privacy, choosing to keep parts of our lives to ourselves can feel almost countercultural. Journaling is, in fact, punk as fuck.
@Annie Have not read this piece yet but I will chime in that I’ve always considered DayOne as my private personal anti-social network.
@patrickrhone @Annie funny you say that: Day One was how I weaned myself off of twitter nearly a decade ago. It was somewhere to put that pithy comment I just had to “post.” I still use it (though my usage has evolved of course).
