@restlesslens nice photo. This brought back some memories. Way back, I rehabilitated three overgrown allotments by the river in Oxford. That was a learning experience. Something about allotment landscapes makes me feel... settled, somehow

@writingslowly oooh that’s interesting. I’ve always wanted to tend an allotment (or a kitchen garden, or even a window box), but I’ve never felt settled enough.

@restlesslens ironically , I'd just about tamed the rampant brambles and harvested a crop when we moved away. Wherever I am I've tried to garden as though I'll be there forever. Otherwise it all feels too temporary. Minimum viable gardening: sprouting seeds 🌱🌱🌱. Anyway, thanks for your photo
