@maique My experience with feral peacocks in LA is that they also “greet” people in the morning, a euphamism for screaming like cats throughout the wee hours.
@cliffordbeshers These seem to go through days without making a sound, and then wake up one day and remember they have the most annoying scream. The little one loves it 😆
@maique there was a feral peacock in a neighborhood near mine in New Orleans. In the spring, everyone kept their cars dirty so the peacock wouldn’t mistake it’s reflection in the body panels for a rival, attack it, and destroy the car in the process. They were quite fond of him.
