Discord decided I’m not human and I can’t access it anymore 🤪
I would treat it as just a joke if I didn’t need it these days.
After about 24 hours support asked if I can switch off the VPN temporarily. No I can’t, I have no VPN.
Wanna bet how fast or if ever they can help me? Go ahead! The winner gets my congratulations ;D
It’s been three days now. I got another reply saying that the system may have flagged me cause of my sharing a VPN or proxy with a bad actor. I once again replied I have not used any VPN or proxy and once again asked if they can help.
I’m slowly starting to think my account may be lost. That’d be so dumb.
@deerbard sounds like your account was stolen and they don't care enough to return it to you. I lost an email account that way once. I couldn't prove it was mine to their liking.

Hah! I’m not even mad, it’s just fascinating to watch. Yet another mainstream platform just closing its doors for me.
Asked them the final question in this situation. Can they delete for me the account I can’t use anymore and remove all my data?
@deerbard This is why I prefer to pay for my social media account. It makes crooks less likely to steal it, since then they'll have to pay for it themselves. Other than that, I dislike Discord, too gamer orientated. I have an account, never used it in earnest. If things are free, that's what they should be valued at, without any worth, nor use. I bet if you'd had Nitro, they would be more bothered with your case.
All true (although game orientation doesn’t bother me, it’s me who decide which server I join), but it’s still weird how unprofessional can such a big business be. Their support can do nothing to help. They just gained one unhappy customer who will tell everyone not to use their product.
@gritty Heheh, I think I deleted enough for now, I’m so isolated from other people I’d rather find new ways to connect.
I will probably even try to get back to Discord with new account. It’s the only place I had meaningful conversations online for some time now and now the only connection with these people is gone.
