@mroutley This episode of the Upgrade podcast made me realize I'm not interested in automation. I'm not an information worker like the hosts and guests. I just wait until Apple makes it easy enough for non-enthusiasts.

Iām glad automation is available on my iOS devices and use many, simple ones throughout the day. But, I intentionally keep them short and focussed to avoid fiddling with them. I agree that Apple still has work to do on making things easier
