I see people leave Facebook, WhatsApp, and similar because they hate they idea of being tracked. However, tracking is done at the backend, using the web and third parties as sources, not only in the apps. In short, whatever you do on the Internet will somehow be tracked.
@renevanbelzen I think some people may leave because they don’t like how those companies do business.
@grayareas Yes, a valid reason to leave. Just don’t kid yourself that it would annoy or hurt the parent company if you leave, or never joined in the first place.
