Switched to the Arlo Baby from the Withings Home. I like the simplicity of the Home but Netgear seems to be able to write iOS apps that don’t break, which, you know, kind of a big deal with a baby monitor.

@pyrmont Uh oh. Are you still within the return window? I have to say, I have had a LOT of issues with Arlo Baby. The temperature sensor is inaccurate (provides several degrees warmer than reality), plus we often have to force quit the app on iOS and tvOS to get the video to start streaming again.
@EddieHinkle It arrived yesterday so yep. So far, so good for me. Streaming worked all last night. I'm having the stops steaming issue with the Withings Home; if it happens with the Arlo Baby as well, not sure what to do!
@pyrmont Our plan for baby number 2 is to just get a regular smart camera. There doesn’t seem to be much difference in the features between baby monitor and those except baby crying alert and temperature. It could be our mesh router (Eero) but it seems like they just don’t put enough processing power in there for the video streams or something. 🤷♂️
@pyrmont @EddieHinkle We tried a bunch of smart cameras and just couldn't find one that worked as well as we needed. We ended up going with this regular setup and absolutely love it. 30,000 4.5 star reviews on Amazon. Can even connect multiple cameras to one viewer.
