Hmm. I like Reeder 4, but when it comes down to it, I think I like the “web app” version of Feedbin better on the Mac and iPad and Unread better on the iPhone.

@chipotle we're so used to web app versions right? It feels so native, so correct! Plus, as a workflow, it's nice to be in the browser already.

@chipotle I wish tapping the status bar in Safari scrolled to the top of the web app version on the phone :(

@nitinkhanna I'm often a native app partisan, but Reeder doesn't bring anything really extra to the table for me, I think. (The only advantage Reeder 3 had over Feedbin to me was that I could pick exactly the font I wanted…something Reeder 4 no longer allows.)

@pyrmont i'm not sure that I remembered it didn't! Unread is such a great way to read RSS on the phone (at least for me) that nothing else has successfully pulled me away.

@chipotle if it was a beloved feature, it should come back to Reeder 4 eventually, right?

@chipotle Ah, fair enough. Not sure about Unread but items ready in Fiery Feeds didn't get added to Feedbin's 'Recently Read' list and I found myself missing that. Don't suppose you know whether Unread does that, do you?

@pyrmont I don't know, although it doesn't look like it does. I kind of wonder if that's a lapse on Feedbin's end; it doesn't seem like an RSS client should have to do anything other than mark the story as read for Feedbin to put stories there...?

@nitinkhanna You'd think. Of course, there's a possibility it's only beloved by a small minority of type nerds (hi, hello). :)
