The power didn’t come back on overnight so that’s 15 hours now and counting. At least the thunderstorms have stopped and the gales have died down. I’ve lit the wood burner to boil water for tea, and because it’s cold.

@Miraz There is the BioLite stove, but I guess you have to be outside for that. (There should have been a detachable generator-unit for fireplaces and wood stoves). Maybe invest in a powerbrick?
