@Burk they're fun to hang with, but their attack damage is pretty weak! 😉

@prologic it's just a little Golden Possum, they have them in Melbourne, though quite rare, with greater numbers found across Tasmania. Our wildlife never surprises me, we've got all sorts of odd looking and behaving critters here!
