Strongly considering buying a sunrise wake-up light to help my wife and I wake up before the sun rises. Anyone has had experience with this kind of tech? I’m thinking of getting the Philips HF3520 (Amazon).
@fardles I highly recommend Home Assistant for this kind of stuff. As for specific controllers and hardware you can really almost use whatever you like but do your research and find what suits you and works best with Home Assistant. 👍
@prologic Thanks for the link! It looks really interesting, especially since it all runs off a computer in-house, rather than have everything go into the cloud.
@fardles that’s one of the biggest reasons why I recommend it. I’m not a big fan of relying on cloud services where I literally give up my privacy and handover my daughter which is mine!
