At the risk of coming across as putting my head in the sand, I’ve refused to follow any political news in the U.S. and from India. Everything is so depressing. Not sure if it is helping but I’ve felt a lot less anxious in the past couple of weeks.
@pratik Living in misery does not a good citizen make. We should all help in the ways at which we are best, be as caring and honest with each as possible, and choose the best moments to take our firmest stand.
@simonwoods For now, I can’t vote in the US or even give political contributions. I’m an Indian citizen but India doesn’t allow me to vote remotely.
@simonwoods Trust me, it kills me to not be politically active coz I always have been and have strong opinions; perhaps to my detriment in the past. I've been informally reprimanded at my previous job for making "political" statements. Anyhooo...
