Learning just how inconsistent the experience is when it comes to posting an image to Micro.blog on iPhone.

@pratik Oh! I meant within itself. Posting an image from the Files app is different from the photos app is different from the Micro.blog app is different from the share sheet.

I haven't got the time to log the specific issues at this moment (it's actually broken in at least two situations) but either way this is a fairly basic function that should just work, especially considering the whole existence of Sunlit. The point at which a whole specialised photoblogging app exists for the platform it is entirely reasonable to assume that the main app is rock-solid when it comes to posting images.

@simonwoods Agree on that front. Posting from the Share sheet (from the Photos app) has never worked for me. I’ve mentioned it as an issue but something about file size. No problem uploading when done from the mb app.
