Final iPad update: updating my iPad Air 2 to iPadOS 13.1 broke all Wifi networking. It took putting s SIM card into it, deleting all content and settings and starting from scratch (sell, restoring from iCloud) to fix it.

Won’t be updating my wife’s iPad Air 2 until 13.1.x.

@yorrike Oh, actually, my old iPad is an Air 2 I think. Thanks for the alert. Mine doesn’t take a SIM…

@Miraz I’d be interested to know if the non-SIM versions work. A few of the system mentions I saw all noted they were GSM models.

@yorrike I might hold off on that one. These days it shows my weather station results, plays podcasts and shows me my recipes while I cook. It can wait till the dust settles.

@simonwoods I thought as much. I recycled mine last year; mostly cuz the screen was cracked but was using it on my fridge for weather forecast, recipe browsing while cooking, etc only
