Madrid had some nice fall foliage too. As seen from Almudena Catedral Plaza. The El Retiro Park is also a nice place to take a walk among trees in the middle of the city.

Walkway lined with trees displaying autumn foliage, casting shadows on the path; people stroll in the background, while sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a serene, warm atmosphere.

Trees stand tall with leaves changing colors, scattered on the lush green grass. A pathway with a bench winds through the park under a clear blue sky.

@pratik The colour palette throughout is gorgeous, especially the first and third images!

@matjpacker Thanks. Can you believe me if I said the third photo is a pedestrian path between two sides of an arterial road?

@pratik I would actually, most of Europe knows how to bring, or keep, nature into spaces like that to soften the harshness and to create noise buffers. That said, it could just as easily be a “university walk” or something like that.

@matjpacker True. Europe definitely has a better handle on urban planning that suits my preferences.
