The vibes are getting stronger with Pete. I really hope it’s him!! Kamala needs to go bold and go strong. None of these governor candidates have been anything close to inspiring as Pete is.

@stupendousman Heart wants Pete or Whitmer. Head wants those other white governors. Kelly may be in his own category.

@pratik I really hope this comes across the right way. I would welcome Buttigieg as the VP on the Harris ticket. But I wonder if that might be a step too far, and therefore even more mobilizing, for the Right? Or have they had their fill already with Harris and Buttigieg would not make it any worse for them? Kelly, on the other hand, except for the D after his name, is everything the Right fawns over. Not that they would vote for a Harris/Kelly ticket (they wouldn't, of course), but that combo would bring to light their strong bias against Harris while Buttigieg would almost certainly deepen their bias against the whole ticket.

@gdp I totally get it. Change is better when done incrementally. Hence, Obama chose Biden as his running mate. Also, Kamala and Pete may mean too much star power, and you don't want the VP to overshadow the top of the ticket. I think it's gonna be Cooper or Kelly to secure their states. Maybe Shapiro if they see PA as shaky.

@pratik Yeah Kelly is more well known than the governors; Pete's only drawback is he will probably overshadow Kamala herself coz he is so good at communication.
