@jsonbecker I live in London and 0 plans, 0 clue what to do may as well be my motto. It's a big, diverse city that suits spontaneity @pratik (though the sights will be rammed with tourists). Use public transport to get around. Don't forget the Uber Boat river ferries and the driverless trains of the DLR in East London if you happen to be near the river or out east.

@mmetcalfe We were there for 9 days and had planned for a leisurely tour including plenty of walking. But yeah, London, like other great big cities, is best experienced by living in them. But yet, depending on what @jsonbecker likes to do, there's still plenty to do for all types of people.

@pratik @jsonbecker as Samuel Johnson famously said:

when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford

@jsonbecker British library or Natural History Museum if it is raining, Covent Garden at dawn, walk along the Thames, Borough or Southwark market, jump on a train to Biscester for outlet shopping or to Windsor for tradition and a visit around the estate.

@jsonbecker I like the Portobello Road Market. Borough Market is cool, too.

@jsonbecker We did the Summer Exhibition last week which was very enjoyable (if that is your thing). My first trip to London in 30 years and only got lost a couple of times... so the TfL app is warmly recommended.
