JCProbably has a useful tip on keeping a book past its due date for those using Libby.
@rscottjones I discovered that accidentally too. But what happens with the actual book? I mean, does the library not get it back on the due date and thus can’t loan it to the next person? The ethics of this hack felt a bit dicey to me.
@pratik I don't think that it prevents Libby from loaning it out to the next person. I guess I haven't specifically tested that before, but I believe you can also disconnect your device from wifi and return the item early from the libby app on another device, but continue reading on the original disconnected device. That leads me to believe that it's not holding up libby from loaning it back out.
@rscottjones In that case, it’s perfect.
@rscottjones I believe that is correct. One way to confirm is check Libby and Kindle on, say, your phone.
